FEMA – Defect and complaint management

FEMA supports the requirements of the QM systems according to ISO 9001, ISO/TS and IATF 16 949 with the following functions:

  • Defect recording: Reported defects or complaints are documented in a recording form,
  • Error ticker: New defects are displayed in a “live ticker”,
  • Error evaluation:  frequency, types of errors, cause, external and internal error costs, individually and time-related,
  • 8D-Report,
  • Immediate measures, with allocation of responsibility, special releases, can be documented and checked for effectiveness, printout of “LOCKED” and “RELEASE” cards! 
  • Per E-Mail new complaints can be communicated quickly,
  • Multilingualism

A clearly structured main menu allows quick access to the individual modules and master data.

You will be reminded of each appointment when FEMA starts.

At the push of a button, an “error list” shows all open, pending and rejected external and internal complaints.

In this screen mask the internal or external error that occurred is recorded and described in short form. Users with read-only access can “report” or enter errors (e.g. customer complaints).

In this mask the reported error is analysed and described. The errors can be catalogued here by error type, error cause, department and used for later evaluations.

In this mask, the corrective and preventive actions as well as the person responsible for them and the date of realization are defined. If the effectiveness is proven, the corrective measure is “checked off”.

At the push of a button all complaints of a certain article that have occurred so far are listed.

FEMA enables an evaluation of external and internal defect costs and puts them in relation to a freely definable reference value (e.g. turnover) within a selected time period.

At the “push of a button” an 8-D report (printout, German/English) can be generated from the defects recording, which can be subsequently edited before it is made available to the customer.

In FEMA, you can create as many letters as you like for each complaint and send them by fax or e-mail.
